Hello!

My name is Rachel, and I’m a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for personalized mental health care.

I have spent the last decade talking to people about their problems and helping them find solutions— first as a Registered Nurse in the hospital, then as an Advanced Practice Mental Health Provider in my community—and let me tell you what I know for sure: There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mental health.

Through years of dedicated work in diverse psychiatric specialties, I have developed an intimate understanding of many different diagnoses, but I specialize in integrative care for anxiety and mood concerns, trauma related symptoms, and ADHD. I believe in keeping your story at the center, and using it to cultivate a deeper understanding of your challenges as we collaboratively craft a personalized plan for your mental and physical wellness.

Experience has taught me that psychiatric care works best when it is individually tailored to each person’s unique needs, and all available treatment options are carefully considered.

I practice integrative psychiatry, which means I prescribe psychiatric medication when needed, but I also explore underlying contributors to symptoms and include lifestyle intervention, nutrition/supplement recommendations, and skill building as essential parts of your treatment plan.

I love working with adults in transitional life stages, including the dynamic and uncertainty-filled stage of quarter life (roughly ages 18-36), and adults who are caregivers for family members. Whether you're:

  • shouldering the responsibilities of caring for an adult family member

  • a recent college grad

  • a millennial dealing with relationship or career confusion

  • navigating the unique path of parenting neuro-divergent children or teens

  • all of the above, or somewhere in between—

My mission is to walk alongside you, offering tailored support that recognizes the complexities of your daily experience. As an ally on your journey, I specialize in helping incredible adults like yourself improve your mental wellness and build a life worth living.

Yes, I also work with kids and teens!

Navigating the unique challenges of childhood and adolescence can be daunting. Whether it's academic pressure, social dynamics, ADHD, sensory differences, or other mental health concerns, I'm here to provide support tailored to their specific needs.

Having spent much of my career working in pediatrics, I understand the challenges kids and teens face today and offer guidance to help them navigate this phase of life.

Building a Life Worth Living:

  • Skillfully navigating changes related to education, career, relationships, family dynamics and changing roles is an essential feature of building a meaningful life.

  • Learning to balance work, relationships, personal growth, and the responsibilities of caring for others alongside your own needs is important—but it is equally important to have flexibility and compassion for yourself around this concept of balance—because it isn’t always achievable!

  • The important task of exploring various possibilities and finding your path creates uncertainty, which is uncomfortable-but often essential for growth.

  • Learning to emotionally regulate through the stresses of identity formation, career choices, relationship dynamics, changing responsibilities and witnessing the challenges faced by loved ones

  • Exploring your values, passions, and goals, discovering inner strengths and resilience

  • Finding community in friends, mentors, family, support groups, or professionals as you navigate life changes and challenges
